Abstract:
Residential fires accounts for a sizeable proportion in the total number of fires States. Residential fire is the type which many research institutions and fire departments pay much attention to. The paper aim to investigation fire dynamics and combustion characteristics about typical and widespread using materials, such as paper (newspaper), veneer, mattresses, fire temperature field was tested. The full-size fire in the living room model room made up of those typical materials was prepared.to hold fire dynamics combustion characteristics.flame development rule. The paper shows that polymeric materials and polyurethane foaming plastic have a high heat release rate(HRR), Maxinum heat release rate can reach 305KW.The full-size fire experiment show that flame overspread so fast,fire range so wide that fire temperature depart from flame center, especially crossing area of different part’s of flame, is so high as 250℃. At the same time, a mass of smeek were released, and the visibility is very low.full-size fire experiment shows that fire filed temperature getup to 850℃ in 200s.
